Mr. William Pilgrim, 53, of 1802 Jones Road, Hartwell, died Monday, April 1 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka FL.

Born on February 26, 1960 in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late Ralph Pilgrim and Mildred Little Pilgrim.Mr. Pilgrim was a truck driver for Auto Zone and of the Baptist Faith.He was a veteran of the U S Navy and a member of the VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Patterson Pilgrim of the home; a son, Joshua Pilgrim and his wife Leigh Ann of Hartwell; a daughter, Christy Ricks and her husband Aaron of Hartwell; a brother, Lee Pilgrim of Hartwell and two grandchildren, Abel Pilgrim and Gracie Ricks also survive.Mr. Pilgrim was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Pilgrim and a grandchild, Zachary Chase Joshua Pilgrim.

Memorial services will be Thursday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jerry Durham and Mr. Steve Shaw officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night.The family is at the home.
