Mr. William M. Riddick, age 89 of 2185 Double Creek Lane, Alpharetta Ga., died Thursday, October 19 at Manor Care Nursing Center, Decatur GA.
Born on April 7, 1917 in Wytheville VA, he was the son of the late William M. Riddick and Annie Laurie Owen Riddick. He was a retired Civil Engineer and a member ofAIA.He was of the Methodist faith and a veteran of WW II, where he served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater.
He is survived by his wife: Frances Bonelle Thomas Riddick of Elberton; a son: Dr. M. Thomas Riddick of Alpharetta; a daughter: Laurie Hatcher of Elberton; three grandchildren: A. Leigh Veteto of Elberton, Sanford T. Hatcher of New Orleans LA and Justin Riddick of Alpharetta.He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: William M. Riddick.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
