Obituary
Willie Joe Busby, age 83, of Lavonia, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at a friend's house in Westminster, SC.
Born March 11, 1937 in Royston, he was the son of the late Johnny B. and Louise (LeCroy) Busby. Before retirement he worked as a grinder operator for Vermont America. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter: Debra Joann Busby Wallace of Gaffney; sister: Linda Busby; and several grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son: Johnny Joe Busby; daughter: Jeri Janet Busby Bryant.
Mr. Busby's request was to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
