Mr. Willie Lee Forrester, 80, of Tom Cobb Road, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at his home.

Born on January 1, 1941 in Johnson, TN, he was the son of the late George Taylor Forrester and Frances Forrester.Mr. Forrester was a retired supervisor for the NVF Company.

Survivors include two sons: George Forrester of Hartwell and David Forrester of Kennett Square, PA; one daughter: Donna King of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren: Nona Forrester, Stacey Smith, Jessica Alexander, Christina Foster; and three great grandchildren. Mr. Forrester was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Nona Lee Mitchell Forrester; one daughter: Vickie Forrester; one grandchild: Donnie Smith; three brothers: Wallace Forrester, Willard Forrester, Jerry Forrester; and one sister: Shirley Troutman.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Forrester will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Simmons officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
