Mrs. Willie Blanche Carnes Sanders, 79, of 121 Clyde Circle, Hartwell, GA, died Sunday, Mary 18, 2008 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC.
Born May 28, 1928 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lumus Carnes and Annie Burns Carnes. She was retired from Monroe Auto Equipment.
She is survived by:Husband, Robert Sanders of the home; Sons, Jerry Sanders and Wayne Sanders both of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Eleanor Carnes Sayer of Hollywood, GA and Dolly Mae Ethridge of Kennesaw, GA; Grandchildren, Kim Gunter and Crystal Sanders; Three Great grandchildren, Taylor Gunter, Brooke Sanders and Haleigh Sanders.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Son, Kenneth Carnes; Brothers, Dupree Carnes and Columbus Carnes and a sister, Othella Motes.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Bob Davin and Rev. David Merck will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
