Mrs. Willie Mae Stovall Temple, age 97, of 3588 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Hart County Hospital.

Born May 28, 1912 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Will Stovall and Leona Nixon Stovall.She was retired from Hart County School System where she worked in the lunchroom.She was a member of Oak Bower Baptist Church.

She is survived by:Sons, Durwood Temple of Hartwell, GA and Gerald H. Temple and his wife Mildred of Hartwell, GA; Two grandchildren, Angie Temple and Chad Temple and two great grandchildren, Zach Marcengill and Holly Marcengill.She is preceded in death by Parents; Husband, Arthur H. Temple; Eight Brothers, Enoch, Alex, Claude, Thornton, Benson, Damerison, Hubert and Tom Stovall; Sisters, Vera S. Howard, Lilly S. Smith and Eula S, Cash.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Bower Baptist Church.Rev. Tommy Cleveland, Rev. Harry Warren and Rev. Randy Perry will officiate.Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m. The family is at the home of Gerald & Mildred Temple, 3564 Anderson Hwy., Hartwell, GA30643.
