Obituary
Mrs. Willie Moore Vickery, 93, of Royston, GA, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born January 20, 1914 in Hart County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late tom M. Moore and Bertie Hendrix Moore.She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by:Daughter, Frances Smith of Atlanta, GA; Brothers, George Moore of Hartwell, GA, Thomas Moore of Hartwell, GA and Doug Moore of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Janie Ruth Moore of Elberton, GA and Claudine Marchinke of Winter Garden, FL; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Hester Vickery; daughter, Bertie M. Lee, sons, Gene and Joe Vickery, Sisters, Alma Jean Wilson, Eva Mae Adams, Elizabeth Fleming and Lillian Blackman; Brothers, Guy Moore, Stuart Moore, T.M. Moore and Joe Moore.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church.Rev. Randall Starrett, Rev. Johnny Stowe and Mr. David Vickery will officiate.
The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 pm prior to the service.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 7 to 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Tina Couey, 2579 Sanders Road, Elberton, GA.
