Mrs. Wilma Lee (Harper) Guest, age 89, of Lavonia, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born April 26, 1922, in Irwin County, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie & Annie Jean (Tucker) Harper. She was a homemaker and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Guest was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd R. (Smoky) Guest, Sr; 6 siblings and a grandson: Sgt. Anthony Guest.
She is survived by her children: Sandra Vickery, William (Butch) Guest, Lloyd (Sonny) Guest & Cynthia Borum; grandchildren: Vicky West, Richard S. Vickery, Jerry B. Vickery, Angela B. Jarrett, William M. Borum, Stephen Guest, & Shawn Guest; 17 great-grandchildren & 5 great-great-grandchildren .
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 at Franklin Memorial Gardens – North with Rev Bruce Moore officiating.
