Mrs. Wilma Williford Yeargin, age 85, of Hartwell, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at AnMed Health in Anderson.
Born December 7, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Llewellyn and Catherine (Isbell) Williford. She was a homemaker and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Herman Pascal Yeargin; brother: Sam Williford; and sister: Kathy Hamby.
She is survived by sons: Mike Yeargin of Hartwell and Mitch Yeargin of Jasper; daughters-in-law: Joyce Yeargin and Pam Yeargin; brother: Jack Williford; sisters: Sue Allen and Helen White; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Yeargin Family Cemetery at Cross Roads Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
