Mr. Winfred L. "Buddy" Price, 69, of Cade Street, Hartwell, died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on July 23, 1944 in Moultrie GA, he was the son of the late Charlie Price and Mamie Massey Price.He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include four brothers: John T. Price & Peggy of Hartwell, Joel Price & Mary Ann of Bowman, Ben Price & Wynell of Lavonia and Lloyd Price of Hartwell; one sister: Linda Phillips of Jefferson; several nieces and nephews also survive.Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Charles Harvey Price.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Mike Fugate officiating.Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at their respective homes.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Church of one's choice.
