Obituary
Miss Winnie Brown, 82, of 261 Fairview Ave, Hartwell, formerly of Marietta GA, died Friday, June 28 at Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center.
Born on July 14, 1930 in Martin GA, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Brown and Selma Smith Brown.She was a retired CNA from Wellstar-Kennestone Hospital and a member of the Marietta First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sisters, Roberta Nall of Little River SC and Eula Eskew of Hartwell; several nieces and nephews also survive.Miss Brown was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joe Stewart Brown.
Graveside services will be Monday, July 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Kennesaw Memorial Park with Rev. Dean Hunter officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.
