Mrs. Winnie Frances Caudell Witcher, 82, of Jones Circle, Royston, went to be with her holy father Friday, December 12, 2014.
Born on January 8, 1932 in Homer GA, she was the daughter of the late Dave Caudell and Alma Jean Motes Caudell.Mrs. Witcher was a retired seamstress from Bellcraft Mfg. Co. and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Bowman.
Survivors include her daughter: Geraldine Bruce of Royston; a son: Morris Witcher of Hartwell; a sister: Robbie Shirley; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Witcher was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Thomas Judson Witcher; a son: Dennis Witcher; two daughters: Wanda Goldsmith and Patricia White; one grandchild: Mary Goldsmith Clark;two great-grandchildren: Kendall and Kaydence Moss; four brothers: Danus, Ray, Roy and Marvin Caudell and six sisters: Virginia Jones, Woodie Faye Caudell, Mary Lusk, Willie Mae Petro, Wilma Caudell and Merle Duree.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Bowman, with Rev. Chris Pritchett and Rev. Hubert Carter officiating.Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home of Morris and Teena Witcher, 1469 Whippoorwill Trail, Hartwell.
