Mrs. Mary "Wynee" Dove Floyd Edwards, 83, of Smith Street, Hartwell, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Hart Care Center.

Born on April 7, 1928 in Franklin Springs, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Reed Dove and Lilly Cape Dove.She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for Dr. Ed Wysong and the Hart County Hospital and was also a member of Liberty Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, June McClain, and her husband Dwight of Hartwell; two sons: Ricky Floyd and his wife, Vicki of Hartwell, and Randy Floyd and his wife Sandy, of Hartwell; two step-daughters: Ann Moore and her husband, Randall of Elberton, and Linda Moore of Social Circle, GA; five brothers: Talmadge Dove of Anderson, SC, Charles Dove of Hartwell, Job Dove of Carnesville, Jerry Dove of Hartwell, and Tim Dove of Iva, SC., Seven grandchildren: Justin Floyd, Jacob Floyd, Cody Floyd, Tyler Floyd, Jessica Floyd, Jamee Floyd and Eli McClain; two great-grandchildren:Katelyn McClain and Savannah McClain; four step grandchildren: Chris Hoffer, Tracy Moore, Robbie Moore, and Chad Moore; and several step great-great grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Irel Fabris, and she was twice married, first to the late Tom Ed Floyd and the late William O'Dell Edwards.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Joe Black and Rev. John Silver officiating.Burial will follow at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.
