Bradley Vernon Green

Mr. Bradley Vernon Green, 40, lovingly known as Brad, was an amazing husband, father and friend. He was devoted to his family and his greatest pride and joy was his children.

Born on June 2, 1985, he was the son of Vernon Green and Denise Cox Brooks. He is also survived by two sisters: Melody Byrd of Rome GA and Kristy Coogler-Brock of Cave Spring GA.

Brad was a proud father to his three sons: Tyler, Jackson and Landon. He was married to the love of his life: Jaimie Robertson Green for 20 years. Together they built a life rooted in love, family and shared memories. Nearly 10 years ago, Brad and Jaimie moved from Lawrenceville to Lake Hartwell, a place that quickly became home to his heart.

Brad loved the lake and the life that came with it. He found joy in fishing, boating and he truly came alive outdoors. Riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers was something his loved and some of happiest moments were spent outside with family and friends. Brad was especially proud to watch his sons participate in sports and various activities, always cheering them on and supporting them every step of the way.

A skilled carpenter, Brad worked with his hands his entire life. He began building homes alongside his grandfather and family learning the value of hard work and craftsmanship early on. After moving to Hartwell, he continued doing what he loved by working for a company on the lake, building, repairing docks and shoreline steps. Brad took great pride in his work and was known for pointing out projects he had completed during car rides. He always was happy to share what he had built.

Brad will be remembered for his deep devotion to his family. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 29. 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice or a Go Fund Me, which has been created for his children.
