Robby Waits

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Michael Robert “Robby” Waits.

Robby was one of the most playful, charismatic, fun-loving people you could ever have the privilege of knowing. He chased joy in life, and his enthusiasm knew no bounds. He had a way of making people laugh, bringing energy into a room, and making even ordinary moments feel like something worth celebrating.

Robby felt deeply. He loved harder, cared more, and had a compassion for others that was truly special. He loved his family fiercely and treasured the people closest to him.

Robby was a dedicated member of the Brysan Utility Contractors team. Our hearts are broken to have lost not only a valued member of our family and work family, but also the life of the party, the fun uncle, and the friend who brought so much laughter and personality to the people around him.

Above all, Robby loved his family. He adored his brother, Brian, his sister-in-law, Marie, and his niece, Haley, and nephews, Zach, Blake and AJ. He was so much more than an uncle to them. He was their friend, their protector, and someone who would do absolutely anything for them. The love he had for them was evident in everything he did.

Robby also loved and cared deeply for his mother, Donna, and father, Jimmy (Judy). He carried more than his share of the weight of the world and worked hard to take care of the people he loved. He gave of himself in ways that many may never have fully seen or understood.

Robby was simply Robby: big-hearted, hilarious, compassionate, loyal, energetic, and unforgettable. His absence will leave a space that cannot be filled. Our hearts are broken for his family and for everyone who had the privilege of loving him and calling him a friend.

We will remember his laughter, his stories, his incredible enthusiasm for life, and the joy he brought wherever he went. Robby loved the water and everything that came with it. He was an avid fisherman and loved being outside and working outdoors.

Robby, you were truly one of a kind. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Please keep his mother, father, Brian, Marie, Haley, Zach, Blake, AJ and all of Robby’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time.

Rest easy, Robby. We love you, and we will miss you more than words can say.
